Lucas Neill Burgled

The only problem is, in this country anyone trying to defend a property with anything more menacing than a wet lettuce would be crushed under the full weight of the law. It's all geared to be soft on crime, tough on victims. I think Michigan (for example) is much the same...

That's too bad.

Might have to beat the crap out of burglar with a baseball bat and then place a knife in his hand.

Self defense in your own home then? (y)

I think the next time either Everton or Liverpool are away, the local police should put a few officers in each home and just wait. It would only be a matter of time before someone breaks in and has a happy surprise waiting for them.

After the publicity of some home invaders being arrested on the spot, I doubt it would happen much after that.

If the police don't want to spend the resources, I don't see why a player wouldn't pay someone to "house sit" while their away. At least they know some people would be at their home.

Thought something similar when I read Neill had been burglarized. I am surprised someone has not setup a company that caters especially to footballers to provide security for their homes and families. Footballers have the money or they wouldn't be targets, what powers do private security firms have? I wonder.

i would love to go to garards house. not to steal anything from him would just love to [Poor language removed] in a paper bag set it on fire and ring on his door bell then RUUUUUN. :D

That is an outstanding idea.

When saint Stevie G was burgled (by crack hound Pennant) he reported his watches, jewelery and car keys were missing along with 6 premiership medals.
The copper replied, ''you are good, but you are no Phil Neville".
