We use one word as a catch-all and in truth, while we all understand what we’d mean in a day to day conversation, in truth it’s probably woefully inadequate.

The Ancient Greeks had six different words for love and so were better able to express what they actually meant and the subtle differences in types of love. I believe it's a more precise language in regards to most abstract concepts.

Unfortunately English is just a bit inadequate.

True point though. So many words for rain, just one for love. Sums up the British really.

Nah no cheating. We'll call it evolution and wanting different things. Nevermind just about to complete on a new flat so I can do whatever the hell I want whenever I want. Cheers anyway. The World keeps turning.
