This LA Stories trilogy started out pretty tame. Stray dogs and the pound workers. I forget the second, but this third one is a waking nightmare. Sex offenders, how they are policed, the 'care in the community' to prevent these very damaged and sick individuals reoffending and the understanding about how many of these poor xxxxs were abused and missed by all of the authorities way back when. The isolation and the frustration keeps these clearly sick people not only contemplating their crimes and what came before and after but also keeps them in each others company.
Talk about a now way to redemption road.Worse than the death penalty - perhaps thats why its the way it is.
