Lost my house keys today, and car keys on the same bundle - I went back to where I thought I had lost them - on a park realised someone had found them!
Not a problem I thought I would let the police know if anyone had handed them in bad news and a warning police do not now deal with any lost property!
My saving grace I remembered I had a store card barcode on my key ring and went to the neatest store, they had the address of the person who had then phone number etc gave him a reward after 2 hours of panic
So put some barcode ID on your key ring as the police do not deal with lost property!

Fascinating as always Joe x
It is when it happens to you no chance of telephoning the police in fact their advice is nothing tracible even if you find it destroy the item - cut backs gone too far only interested in knives bombs or guns then ring 999- bank cards etc hand in at the bank etc. I had many keys on that bunch the cost of changing the locks etc wait till it happens to you ungrateful sod!
A traumatic experience if I had not had my local shop barcode points system on the bunch goodbye keys, and security!
Also void house and car insurance!
You have to rely on a loyalty card on your key ring, and a dilengent honest person of ever getting them back so be warned not a nice experience!

Stop being so arsey joey you miserable get...
Look had a bad day suffer with panic attacks ok not being Arsey just stop insulting my genuine warnng of if you lose your keys I had my elderly mothers house key on the ring ok she is 84 and unwell !
If you lose yours you will realise the police do not care!

Also... you're mum needs to be more careful who she gives a key to if you can't be trusted to look after it .

Useless rossers aren't there to serve the public anymore, they're a tax gathering, corporation protecting arm of the government.

After losing my car keys last year, I have a tiny fob on every set now, with my mobile number on it. Made them myself using a laser cutter.

Lost the 1 remaining set of keys that don't have a fob on them just last week ffs

Perhaps you should have them surgically attached.
