Yeah it won’t, calories vs calories out is energy expenditure so the principles of basic science will not change. You’ll lose weight, by eating 2500 calories (if you calorific intake is set at say 2750) of pure carbs and fat, your body composition will be different to that if protein is maintained at a specific rate.

There’s a major difference between FAT LOSS and WEIGHT LOSS; eat below your calorie requirements and you’ll lose weight. If you maintain protein at 1g per 1lb or LBM this will reduce catabolism and will focus on fat loss coupled with minimal muscle loss

And unfortunately that’s your opinion, whereby I use scientific evidence and guidance to implement such in my diet and training regimes.

The bolded bit. That is a safe and reasonable recommendation for anyone.
For most people, cutting 500 -1000 calories/day from what you currently eat will lead to some weight loss.
Purely changing numbers on the scale - not fat vs muscle or heart healthy diet or any other benefit beyond the weight reduction.

Much more than that and the recommendations might not fit the person...depends on current weight, body comp, health status, age, etc.

People with certain health issues shouldn't eat the level of protein suggested here.

And what does the 'science' of nutrition have to say on this topic? Because evilwebby's point makes sense - the energetics of human metabolism is a lot more complex than the simple furnace you appear to think it is [ie a calorie is a calorie].
Regardless, it's a simple experiment and it must have been done. 2500 calories of [Poor language removed] versus 2500 healthy eating. What happens?

There's a nutritionist that did this to prove a point. University faculty somewhere. As I recall, he set a daily caloric intake lower than his normal and it came from nothing but Twinkies, Ho-Hos, snack cakes and the like. (He did supplement with vitamins/protein so as not to be malnourished).
He lost weight.

That's the best attitude as a diabetic I avoid sugar free biscuits - chocolates etc as they are the best laxative going....The diatician told me on a special occasion a chocolate or a piece of Cake is ok - just revert back to avoiding them in future...

Is right Joey! I tell all my patients with diabetes this. We can work it into a meal plan. No reason for life to be miserable and never get to eat foods that you enjoy again.

Agreed, it’s possible people may have thyroid issues or even a damaged metabolism which require more detailed approach to dieting.

The flexible diet/IFYM approach is far more sustainable for the average person, allowing them to enjoy foods and not “diet” by restricting certain food groups because it’s just not a long term achievable goal.

I’ve done all the keto, clean eating, chicken and rice BS whilst training and after 4 5 6 weeks it’s just goes to the wall because it’s impossible to enjoy life. I now utilise something called Avatar Nutrition using the flexible IFYM approach. Currently eating 3000 calories and losing 1lb a week quite steadily and I haven’t even started to fully diet yet, maintaining my LBM as well.

Exactly what i have done this last 6 weeks...trying to get Beach Body ready :D Limited myself to 1500 calories a day and i have gone from 14 stone 7 to 13 stone 5 in six weeks. Some days are harder than others but all in all its not been too bad. Makes me eat healthier as well as i've pretty much cut out all types of bread just because it leaves me feeling bloated. Replaced with Soups/Salads etc.

Feeling a lot better for it, even though i'm only consuming 1500 calories i feel i have more energy etc.

Eat less, excercise more. It's not rocket science.

I said this very early on in this thread and most people seem to have treated it as a flippant remark. IT WASN'T.
The OP said "I don't gain or lose weight, trainings, diet etc dont work out."
Most 'DIETS' are difficult to follow. "Don't eat this, eat more of this, count every calorie" ETC
Most training regimes are difficult, or boring to follow.
The only GUARANTEED (and easy) way to lose weight is to eat less and exercise more.

There is absolutely no need to stop eating the things that you like (and are in the habit of eating) No need to count the calories or 'work out' how much 'protein' or 'carbs' or 'fat' is in each portion.
Eat whatever it is that you normally eat (and therefore like) JUST HAVE LESS OF IT.
It really is as simple as just leaving the last forkful of food at each meal. If you do this and increase exercise even a little (something as simple as taking the stairs when you would normally take the lift)
In fact, if you do this and don't lose weight then you really need to see a Doctor.

TOP TIP - Many 'experts' advocate smaller portions. In reality this isn't always possible. Chances are that most of your meals are served up by somebody else. Much easier to just have your normal portion but just leave a little.

If you currently eat 3 double cheeseburgers a day then cutting down to 2 1/2 and walking an extra 100 yards WILL result in weight loss.
