Now? To be fair he has never been regarded as anything more?
He is doing ok, were not going to go down, just need a cup run now and its been a stable transitional season
i hate to break it to people but marco has a premier league relegation on his CV

say all you want about it being Hull.. he had 22 games there and got them playing but went into an uncontrollable slide of form and let 13 goals in the last 2 games which got them relegated.

he got sacked by Watford after an alarming run of appalling form and which left them near the relgation places at Christmas.

marco silva can not yet even claim to be a mid table manager as he has never fulfilled a whole season in the league.

his stats show he is much more of a bottom dweller, who's sides are incapable of defending.

I would say most top teams have improved scoring this year too, with arsenal and Chelsea back in top(ish) form, as well as a rejuvenated United , man city, and obv the RS.. so defending is becoming all the more important, as the RS are proving. defend better and the results will vastly improve

As I wander through the threads this morning I noticed a depressing downbeat trend the like of which I barely remember . The Owners are getting it in the ear ...the senior players are getting it in the neck ....the young lads are getting booted up the arse ...th dreamers and lottery players are wishing for Usmanov to come
Marco Silva is now being touted as a mid table manager half say into his first season. Most of this has been catalysed by a bad loss. Get over it ...it happens to the best especially in transition. WE BANGED 4 PAST MAN CITY in transition.
I decided to look back at my own posts and a lot of threads from the last year...first at the Mid Allardyce world and THAT WAS depressing
Then I looked at the threads when we began the brave new world of M M and M
The feeling across most of you (Davek is a special case) was of cautios optimism and relief that the BFS was gone.
Looking at the what would be success in the first season thread ...makes a devastating comparison to what you're all spouting today.
If I sum up the majority feeling on the threads were
"Success is playing bright attractive attacking football , progress with the squad...and a mid table finish will do so that we have a platform to build on.
Personally I think that's exactly what we have.
The job taken on my Marco and Marcel and Moshiri cannot be done in a season. If you think it can you are deluded.
Go on

Sensible posts won't be tolerated around here.

The people bedwetting and the people mentioning “transition” are both wrong.

Fact is we’re bang average with a sprinkle of crap. Get over it.
