Long time lurker from Canada

Been lurking here for a couple of years, but thought it was about time to start posting. Live in Canada near Toronto. My dad grew up an Evertonian and use to go to Goodison with his brothers starting in the late '40's on through the late '60's when he moved to Canada.

Started following football enthusiastically later in life (late 20's), but match day is now the highlight of my week and make sure I catch every Everton game.

It's been fun lurking, but excited to start contributing!

Were you born in Canada ? Have you visited Liverpool? Any plans to visit ?
Tell me, are your pizza's ruined by tropical fruit ? Perhaps you are unable to tell because EVERYTHING over there is smothered in maple syrup anyhow ?

Born and raised in Canada. Been to Liverpool area when I was 3... Only been to London a couple of times for work since. Took in a game each time (Spurs both times since they were the only London team playing both times I was there) but unfortunately Everton were playing elsewhere both times I was over.

Have relatives in Wigan and Burtonwood, may make it over someday with my family. My folks saw the 2-2 draw with Wigan at the DW a few years back when they were over. I also watched a lot of Wigan when they were in the Prem since my mom's from there...seven seasons of watching RM was a lot... Hard job hating him given the FA Cup he won with Wigan though (the win helped ease the fume from the 3-1 battering they gave us on route).

I just don't get the appeal of tropical fruit on pizza.... But I love cheese on toast.

No, but there was actually a bear that wondered into my neighborhood despite the fact I'm only 30km outside Toronto. So Canadian that.

Hope you save your dollars and get yourself over here ASAP and make sure you time your visit right to take in a home game or two, hopefully before we move from Goodison.
