Named after Bob Latchford, started going in 83. Saw the glory years of 84-87. Became a proper obsession come 2000 when I could afford to go alone and started going every game home and away. I lived for Saturdays. Happy Al's when you could have a drink
Been to Ukraine, Lille and a friendly in Anderlect where it all kicked off. Was a fun night!!
Best games I have been too, Campbell's 1-0 at Anfield. Cup Semi at Leeds and Final of course. Sunderland away in the cup was a good night, just because we took 8000 and Jelavic!! So many good trips, West Ham 4-0, Sheffield Wednesday 85, Newcastle Super Kev............. but
Lows - so many! Every year at Anfield. Battered 5-0 at City, Arsenal 0-4 knowing we would go down..... all the cup defeats - but randomly, any of the 800 etc that went to Bristol Rovers for a cup match, it poured down, we lost on pens and got back to county road at 3.30am with work at 6. That was a bizarre all time low. Anyone who went to that game will remember what a terrible evening it was all round
Only get the homes these days give or take one or two, kids change things. Bitter and absolutely proud.
