That's coming from a born and bread Scouser. Confidence about our city is good; arrogance not so good.

Sometimes the majority of views about the cities greatness are singular and egoistic; they're somewhat exaggerated by our own beliefs.

Equally, our much heralded 'demise' was not always other peoples fault as people often quote. It was in aspects, but equally much was our own.

However, that doesn't mean that people's views of other cities (such as London) aren't often fair assessments of the situation.

As others have mentioned, it appears more probable that you're attempting to rile for the fun of it, or to express a particular view.

Why not put your reel away and enjoy some festive fun? As John and Yoko such gracefully sung... War is over if you want it.

Not been Marbella either. If you are going to try and have a go at least try and get it right and not revert to the same old lazy stereotypes you seem incapable of avoiding. Likely been as many places as you but doing a bit of travelling clearly hasnt enlightened you in any way.
