Cool, so some kind of fantasy game like Guild Wars/WoW? (I might be about to get abuse for comparing it to WoW).
Not really mate.
WoW is an MMO, which is basically a game in which your character "grows" in terms of levels, gear and skills, over a few months and even Years.
LoL is a pick up and play team based game, of normally 5 players, in which you try and kill other players and then basically destroy their base, not like Cod tho, cos thats an FPS, LoL, is kinda like an RTS.
I'll join in, but tomorrow, as I want to sleep now, really.

The difference with WoW that you're describing is that it is an RPG, although LoL obviously has elements if that in it...Thank god you didnt post on here after our first game together!!
I'll be on this at some point, but need to get my first char up to l30 first!!

Some superb games.
CLG destroyed WE in the long awaited final game and moved on to the Semi vs Azubu.
In the first Semi M5 rolled all over TPA in the first game, then it was an utter stomp, TPA just wiped the floor with them in the last 2 games and took the first spot in the final, it was strange, cos M5 are such a good team and TPA made them look like utter noobs, superb games.
In the next Semi, again, CLG.eu stomped Azubu in the first game, before Azubu then took CLG apart in the final 2 games, I REALLY wanted CLG.eu to win, especially as earlier in the day Azubu had been fined $30,000 for "cheating" in the TSM game and CLG.eu is by far my favourite team, got to bed at 9am, feel like crap today............... Thanks America, Thanks a lot.
So 2 Asian teams in the final and its a fair result, both TPA and Azubu have played superbly and they go into Saturdays Best of 5 already knowing they will walk away with $250,000 for 2nd place and with both teams surely focused on the first prize of $1 million.
Personally, I wouldnt like to call a winner, but if forced, would have to say possibly Azubu to shade it, 3-2.

Saw a bit of Moscow 5 v TPA in the last game. The emphasis placed on baron is at a different level.
Also, the disparity in levels of the champs, same team lvl 18 and lvl 11? wtf

Yeah, the AP Mids are always so much higher levels, the supports and junglers seem to be so low level at times.
But yeah, Baron is so important at that level, its said Baron is worth around 3k gold for each player, they get 300 gold each for killing and such an all round boost in stats.

It's usually the supports that are lower level because it's their job to protect and ward, rather than kill minions and champs, which helps you gain levels.
So I started my smurf (that none of you have added yet) an I'm up to lvl 10...
Running with this AP nunu jungle idea (so long as I have someone who can solo top defensively to set up ganks otherwise they keep dying and we fooked).
My question is this, am I fooling myself by playing jungle and ganking (increasing team kills, gold and eventually winning the game) when there is a strong posibility that when I get to lvl 30, this will all be useless as I wont be playing against pvp people who 2 top the whole time?
Also, in game it says that the wards are invisible.... are they really? Can the other team not see them at all?

A good jungler can turn the game around. I have no screenshots anymore I think, but I had a few games which I've won by myself, on ranked and all, with Lee Sin as a jungler.
Wards - the other team can see them only if they have a pink (Vision) ward, or an oracle. Otherwise - they cannot.
