This, I'm lucky enough to drive past a few farm shops between work & home. Not an obsession but I do think it's important to support local industry as much as we can.

Have to agree there. Within walking distance. Tapas, Aussie steak house, French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Good Carvery, Good greasey spoon for the full English on Saturday mornings, McBurgerking Hut, and if all else fails the Japanese noodle bar (only as a last resort). And a half decent chippy as well, but they don't do chips and gravey or meat and potato pies.
