Player Valuation: £40m
Presuming that Coleman and Rodwell are going to be unfit for the Villa game, we really are down to the bare bones. It begs the question then why are we loaning more players out?

_________Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Distin Baines
__________Neville
__Osman Cahill Heitinga Bily
_________Beckford

(Mucha, Anichebe, Vellios, Mustafi, Gueye, Garbutt, Forshaw)

inj: Coleman, Fellaini, Arteta, Rodwell, Saha, Barkley, Baxter
loan: Duffy, Yobo, Akpan, Wallace, Silva, Vaughan, Yakubu, Turner, Agard

Neville and Cahill are presumably barely fit. If anyone comes back from international duty with an injury then we're really in a mess. As it stands we're only able to call on one sub with Premier League experience. I guess Moyes's logic is that Duffy is fourth or fifth choice to cover at centreback and that a short-term loan will make him more prepared should he be required. It's worrying though that the Villa game could be an entirely new experience for the likes of Vellios and Forshaw, if only from the bench.

Personally I'd make a point of throwing Gueye and Vellios on. It's in front of a home crowd against a struggling Villa side that contain a lot of kids themselves. It's better to blood our players in that environment rather than to be forced to use them further down the line.

I suppose Yobo Vaughn and Yak are loans with a view to buy...same as Moyes did with Peanuts, Arteta and Yobo. The rest I pressume is just to give game time to. If we are two or three up wih 5 minutes to go maybe they will come on. In Moyes we trust.
