Loans out

Yeah, that's the worry. I'm sure if there'd still be clauses that they could come back if it was urgent. Can't help thinking though if, say, we had injuries/suspensions at the back, that Moyes would put Neville, Hibbert or even Fellaini at centre back than recall Duffy from a loan.

When I saw a nervous Shane Duffy come on for his PL debut against Spurs at WHL when only the week before he'd been quickly recalled from Scunthorpe where he was on loan as we had Jags out injured.

Just saying like, I mean some of us actually follow what's happening with Everton you know.

Fair point, Moyes would never play Hibbert at CB in front of Duffy in an important PL game against say, just to pick a name out of the hat, Man City.

He did very well though didn't he? Sometimes experience is justified. It just makes me laugh how people completely ignore facts to have a good moan up!!

Hibbert did incredibly well. I was just pointing out the idea of Moyes prefering to play someone he trusts out of position in to a young lid isn't half as outrageous as you were suggesting.

I wasn't suggesting it was outrageous in the slightest though was I? I was making the point that *these players will be recalled if needed and in some cases get a few starts and sub games too. I'm only too aware of Moyes's calls on experience out of position against youth.

*I should have said "some of these players". I'm not 100% on Moyes trusting someone like Garbutt so he'd probably play Distin there, then again Distin isn't a bad LB by any stretch. Horses for courses and all that poop.

Our U21 Team have not started well and could be in danger of dropping out of the top groups if still underperforming by Jan 2013. I wonder if DM might be a bit reluctant (other than Bidwell who has already gone to Brentford) and wait and see how the U21 team and injuries to the First team go until the January window and then loom to a lager number of loan outs. Just a thought.

Well maybe he didn't use the best example as exactly what he was suggesting had in fact happened? Or am I missing something here? As I said it just made me laugh he'd just made up a scenario that had in fact happened last season, so to me it just looked like nonsense to justify a bias opinion. Hence the dig, I mean everyone loves a dig right?! lol
