Loading the toilet roll

Have you voted yet front or back?
Depends.
If it's in front of me, then in front, because it looks tidier, and you can grab it easier, without cladding with the wall.

Ive been in toilets where the bog roll is behind the seated position. Here, you have to twist around farther is its front loaded, and the sheet is more accessible if back loaded.

Obviously.

I think I may be on the spectrum.

Going at it from the rear provides the advantage of tension, which helps.

Also, nothing wrong with excessive attention to detail, an nothing wrong with being on the spectrum. You are who you are. But have you also considered whether you could have undiagnosed accountancy?

LOL - but no. I know I have a personality, of sorts. I know I have one because it irritates the hell out of the missus.

But, prey tell, from whence is your assumption that a back loader gives more tension?

I suppose it depends on the orientation of the roll to the seat, and also the user's height, and the specifics of the paper itself, but if you can leverage the strip being removed against the roll itself (possible for the rear entry in most configurations), you can use this tension to aid in tearing a strip. In either case, a sideways removal is probably best.

I see your point. Rear loading allows for easy single handed tearing perhaps, if you're holding a mug of tea, or a pastie with the other.

One of the main dangers of front loading is the easier access this gives to cute golden labrador puppies to cause mayhem. Keep it at the rear, nice and tidy.

nowt worse than laying some cable only to find out there is NO BOG ROLL!

especially on the building site toilet.

i once on my desperation used loft insulation as replacement.... what was i thinking!
