Amazingly ROI does not have good Friday as a bank holiday, and yes the pubs as a rule are closed also.(their getting sneaky though,put on a big rugby match in Thomand Park against one of the provinces,Limerick chamber of commerce go roaring about lost trade during these hard times,and hey presto ).
