no passion no guts no strikers
some dreadful performances..osman way to weak on the ball..lescott must have been out last night..awful..pineer [Poor language removed] weak clueless and not good enough..sell
neville [Poor language removed] as ever..we are never gonna challenge for 4th with this caliber of player
carsley good solid...fernandes very cool and exellent passer..little bit of class we need in midfield..sign
yobo jags solid and hibbert slow but did his job
sorry for the rant...just pissed off with the display...i know we were missing players ..but show some passion .ffffffffffuck

Nothing wrong with that, but the problem is we couldn't judge them base on this game, because we never play football today, how should i say it, today we were like a bunch of lazy school kid who can't be bother to play a football match in games lesson.

Good job we are not playing at home, or else I did ask the player to refund the ticket money out of there wages, no one should have to paid to see such performance, it was like they were taking there dogs out for a walk in the park, god they didn't even try.

I don't want to remember the match at all, they better put 4~5 goals past Derby next weekend.

Thats actually the best sum up all night really (y)

Although id leave the sign fernandes thing for now...he had one good half, he hasnt played well in the other matches, he needs to be consistent.

He needs to play to be consistent. Hopefully he'll start every game until the end of the season because there is no doubt he's class (y)

One question.

Why was Lescott making a run up the left when Yakubu didn't quite have possession of the ball?

Once he lost it, that right side was open with no one near Torres.

I blame Yak for losing the ball but I also blame Lescott for not staying in his position and taking off too early.

You figured it would take a mistake for them to score and sure enough.

I don't know where we're gonna get a goal from. Yak can't do it by himself and I wish the ref would start to pay attention to Hyypia who's all over him and Yak's getting whistled.

I'd get Fernandes in for Hibbert with Neville moving back and see if we can't get a bit more offense going forward.

Pienaar and Lescott both having shockers right now while Osman has been anonymous. Our end product is woeful.

If we don't get things fixed quick, I figure we'll lose this match 3 or 4 to nil.

Interesting that Moyes saw it exactly as I did:

"We made it hard for ourselves with the mistake but we were also a wee bit naive in running out quickly to counter-attack when we hadn't secured possession," said Moyes, anxious to widen responsibility for Torres' match-winning goal. "That gave them the impetus but we hung on and gave ourselves a chance to build. We tried to get support to Yak but we lacked penetration and we needed better movement up front. We were too static."

Spot on !!!

Have you sobered up yet?

Good.

Now go and throw yourself off a bridge. Make it a tall one, you ****.

I havent read through any of the comments on the game yet, but this is my first impression of the game.

I didnt think we played well at all in the first half and lacked any sort of cutting edge throughout the game. Their goal was a gift and could've been prevented which would have made the game completely different, because I'm sure they'd have had more guns blazing in the 2nd half. I dont think we could have done much more with our options and only the yak up front.

I thought Fernandes stood out nicely in the 2nd half, Arteta and him seem to know that they're both quality on the ball. Also, I think only Gerrard and Torres were better than our players from the Liverpool side. Babel made some good runs but his final deliveries were poor. Also I'd have preferred Neville to Hibbert at RB.

In terms of keeping the ball and playing it short, I think we did that a lot better, which is always good to see.

1-0 is a lame scoreline and they had to get a goal from our mistake so I wouldnt be too disheartened by our performances of late and I still think we can keep 5th spot and possibly get 4th, obviously very hard, but until impossible, very possible

Good analysis.

At the risk of being boring,if Torres plays the RS do well he's utter class,it'll be interesting to see if they can keep hold of him

Umm..The mancs beating the RS in the CL final then they steal thier one good player..i'd be made up if it panned out like that.

Thought I'd mention a dream I had last night. I was behind Reina'a goal, the ball came to him, he fumbled it towards the goal, it hit the post, came back to him and he punched it straight back into the goal. I then reached into my pocket, took out a red nose and offered it to him. (y)

He came over, looking all embarrased, and I offered him a cup of tea from my flask. Whilst he was drinking it another two goals went in!

Anyway, like I said, I thought I'd mention it
