We know how the story goes, we’ll get a farcical yellow card in the first 10 minutes (probably Tarks) who’ll then be on a tightrope all game, they’ll make a cynical foul 5 mins later and get no yellow, that said player will maybe get a yellow in the 60th min where it should be a red. And that said player will have a part in the winner in the 103rd.

Yeah, my memories of supporting Everton over the last 45 years in derby matches is that about five people did huge damage to us: Ian Rush, Clive Thomas, Graham Poll, Mark Clattenburg, and Martin Atkinson.They haven't been great at all this season, but have somehowwon all four games, they have some cracking players but I am more worried of the match officials/ var.
Liverpool, to their credit, have had some fantastic players and teams in that time, but only Ian Rush compares with officialdom in the pain stakes.
I have more fear of the referee and VAR than I do Mohamed Salah (and his name is Mohamed, not cuddly "Mo" stripped away of all Islamic connotations, racists!).
