They held out for only 9M? The RS just bid 19M on Stewy, those idiots at Blackpool could have had 20M for Adam.
 
Well in for Blackpool, at least they get paid.

I'm gutted though, honestly i really liked the guy and saw him as perfect for our squad, spirit and style all there. Breaks my heart to know he'll be turning out for the shoite, really does. Rather he go to Man Utd, like.

Hoping he'll turn out to be just as terrible as Poulsen. On the other hand, he should've been playing instead of Poulsen all along, fits that place well.

Adam = better than average on the ball, zero pace in a league that punishes sloths.

Downing = never, ever rated him. One of the most hyped players in recent times, so I hope they land him too.

Imagine if they did get Downing for say £17M...add that to the Henderson and Adam money for a total of £47m(ish).

Adams isn't good enough, he'll get lost at any top half premiership side. He'll be back in the SPL after next season.
 
Good signing for them, good replacement for Henderson.
 

I've heard from a reliable source that Kenny plans on buying enough centre-mids to force Gerrard out of the squad, before making a public appearance on question time wearing a t-shirt saying "the baby IS mine".
 
They've got a fair few midfielders now! I just don't know where they are getting the money from. Yeah Torres money but they wasted that on Carroll and made a great signing in Suarez with the change.

This 70-80 million they are spending on these players though. How? they always come up smelling of roses don't they? The jammy gets.
