Liverpool Pubs - 'Substantial Meal' suggestions

If you walk around the city centre lots of the pubs have signs out saying serving food. E.g the Beehive just off church street

Going out to finish the Christmas Shopping tomorrow and having a nice lunch out - I was hoping to find somewhere for a light meal later on in the day (not a belly buster) and a couple of drinks

Is anybody aware of city centre pubs that are offering a lighter meal and are still open?

£15 for three small plates isn’t too bad.

The bill when we went to petit was eye watering though. Still haven’t braved my online banking since that.

It's probably because I over order horribly every time I hit a tapas place, I just want to try everything lol.

For all you Tapas lovers - We really enjoyed La Finca Eivissa, lovely food and a nice, chilled atmosphere

Me and the Mrs did this.

Went for some tapas on the docks in the day at lunya, then to petit in berry street where you get a cheese board and can sit there for as long as you want with it.

Was there any cheese on the board or did you just play draughts?

The Lisbon does a good roast with plenty of stuffing apparently.

If that wasn’t the first suggestion I would have left GOT there and then.
