What?

When someone says something and you don't hear the last little bit, so you say 'What?' or 'Sorry?' And they repeat the whole sentence. Or alternatively, you didn't hear a word, and they only repeat the last little bit. I need a ciggie.

People who say something and if you don't hear them you then have to go to them to repeat it.
Then when you say something and they don't hear, YOU are expected to go to them.

I believe 'these people' are usually known as spouses.
