I'm not taking away from Barton's actions at all, he's a total disgrace, but the fact is the bloke didn't seem bothered about the facial contact at all, then seemed to think 'ay up, I can get him in trouble here' and went down like a ton of bricks about 30 secs later.

He let his team down, he let his family down but most of all he let himself down!!!

Some big teams for them in the next round, but I can see them getting Millwall away. I hope they actually get a plum draw to go out with a bang. If Sutton beat Arsenal imagine the scenes if they got each other in the quarters. A guaranteed non league team in the semis!
I may be getting confused here but didn't an Italian non league team win some big cup in Italy, can't remember when, 10 years ago maybe.

Please someone put me right or wrong

I can only remember a French village side going on a majestic run to the final of the French cup, I think it was the year 2000.

I'm absolutely made up for the Lincoln fans, and locals. I live in Lincoln, and I know a few ticket holders and guys/gals that pledged money to the club in recent hard times. This kind of run and publicity that they are getting truly is once in lifetime for these guys, and all credit to them, they deserve their time in the headlines. I've taken my lad down to sinny bank a few times this year, we're both Everton season ticket holders so when Everton are away and Lincoln at home, well, we both love footy.

I've just moved into a house in a Witham St Hughs, so have a real soft spot for the city I call my new home. I've been to see them play a fair few times down the years, mainly when Southport have visited, and it's a fantastic achievement and wonderful for all their fans and staff who've stuck by them since relegation from the Lwague.

Their gaffer, Danny Cowley, is one to watch, too. He worked minor miracles at Concord Rangers and Braintree Town, and now this - surely he'll get a tilt at a much bigger club soon. I like his attitude and honesty.

Was it Castel di Sangro? A small village team who got to Serie B. They've since folded.

The Cowleys seem like decent folk certainly very analytical in their approach and work incredibly well as a team. My mate used to coach with the u15's academy side, still keeps his hand in and did some photography earlier in the year to help produce a Calendar for fundraising apparently Danny and Nicky were well up for photo's. Being non league, the academy lost financial support from the football league so parents and fundraising play a massive part for the academy sides.

Took my boy (6) to the cup tie vs Brighton, we bagged tickets through work (Minebea) we were right in the mix with the Squadron and he loved it. The stand was bouncing from 1st minute to last, the last game Vs Woking was just the same. Committed fans creating a great atmosphere, I wish GP had that kind of atmosphere a little more than the 4 or 5 times a season. Alas I'm follower and not a leader when it comes to singing and getting the crowd going tho.
