Morning gents,

You shouldn't have any worries tomorrow. We're a decent side and can knock the ball around but we're just a bit short on quality in the final third (by European standards anyway - our main centre-forward only scored his first goal of the season on Saturday). Also both our full backs spend more time in the opposition third than our own (which is great in the Cypriot league but suicidal against Premier League players), and our best defensive midfielder left for Portugal on the last day of the transfer window and hasn't been replaced.

That said they were superb against Lyon and should really have won that game but for a host of missed chances and a dodgy penalty for Depay. The problem with Cypriot sides is that they only really thrive at home with the partisan crowd, and therefore I don't really see us getting anything tomorrow.

In terms of shape, we play a 4-2-3-1 with the aforementioned wing backs; some of you may remember Valentin Roberge from his Sunderland days at centre-half, and Andre Schembri (our top scorer this season) played for Malta against England and Scotland recently. The Brazilian playmaker Alex da Silva is talented but only when he wants to be, and if you kick him in the first 5 minutes he usually doesn't want to be.

Overall, we're not a bad side (and Cypriot club football is a much higher standard than many give it credit for - APOEL caused Spurs a few problems last night, and there are plenty of technically accomplished players from South America, Spain, Portugal etc in the league), but away from home we're lacking. Provided you muster some enthusiasm and intensity and don't just expect a walkover I can't see you having any problems.

That almost sounds like a mirror image of Everton at the moment mate, which means we're potentially in for another turgid snore fest of hoofball

Get in, 10-0 us

@Bungle I near pissed myself reading that. It's bang on about ex-pats - the kind of middle-aged, homogenized Mail devotees that have lived in a villa outside Paphos for 10 years but don't speak a word of Greek, and spend their days sat outside the Legion taking three hours to drink a Magners whilst ignoring each other. I married a Cypriot girl so I'm excused! The author clearly went to the wrong places in Limassol though - there are many lively and interesting places to go. He's also showing his age as well as all the forces lads go to Paphos or Napa and have done for years.

@raundsblue I couldn't give you a concrete answer of what the clubs will agree but the away end at the GSP can hold around 4,000 (Wales took around that in September 2015); Lyon barely bought 100 or so with them a few weeks ago (although I imagine the UEFA scrutiny their fans are currently under didn't help). Cyprus is actually pretty cold in December (and the holiday towns will all be dead) so you're probably playing us away at the wrong time.
