only got it to protect the mortgage when we moved house, before then (when we didn't have kid) there was no need. The house value way exceeded the mortgage, I had no dependants-no point. Different now like, worth a few quid dead is me, FFS

£50 for me and the wife in joint cover. Both smoke so cost a few quid more but if either one dies the other is well and truly covered. Both earn about the same but need it for are mortgage needs really.

Hi mate how are you today mate how is the dog.

Yes I have it to pay off the mortgage and keep the kids living in their home should something happen to myself or my wife.

I've had a torrid time with Insurance this year. Storms damaged my roof which in turn damaged my car. House Insurance does not cover your car when your house damages it.

Pretty much the only reason I have it too.

Yes, they "suggested it" when we got our mortgage and we kept it up since then, think its like a £5 a month for the missus and something like £15 cos im a smoker and 10 years older than her, worth abar 75k when I snuff it.
