It's a really weird thing to say, but he's probably a weird bloke.
I don't think he's racist. It's just a mental thing to say.
..." what colour was he..."
Well yeh, like I said, a really weird thing to say.
But the context was that he'd (supposedly) asked his friend if she could recognise him and she said no. So he then asked the race.
I mean, that's kind of a standard way of identifying someone isn't it? Doesn't making him a massive racist.
He is, however, clearly a very strange individual.

Admittedly I don’t know that much about it but It seems like a really odd go to line . What did he look like , how old was he , did he have a beard , any scars , how tall was he , did you see any tattoos? All seem a bit more reasoned than “what colour was he “ , what would he have done if she’d said white ? Looked for a white bloke to attack or hit himself in the face ?
So, do we think if it was a white guy he would have acted the same? Waiting outside a bar with a cosh for a week to kill one? I am not convinced at all.
Yeh true.
I don't know, but when the police are doing a composite sketch or whatever, surely the first thing they'll ask is gender and skin colour? I don't think that's inherently racist.
Again I don’t know all the details But he didn’t say he asked for a description, he just said what colour was he and went out with his Cosh . Asking someone to describe somebody or asking somebody’s ethnicity isn’t racist . Asking somebody what colour somebody was then heading out hoping to attack the nearest black person with a cosh could certainly considered to be .
Well the quotes that I saw were "I asked if she could remember what he looked like and she said no. So I asked if she remembered what colour he was."
