Ivaylo Petev has resigned as Levski Sofia head coach after having his shirt removed by angry fans during his first press conference.

The 38-year-old was presented to the media at the Georgi Asparuhov stadium on Tuesday, but a group of supporters, accusing him of having an allegiance to arch rivals CSKA Sofia, removed some of his clothes.

Clearly, all Bulgarians everywhere, regardless of circumstances, are absolute bells and deserve to be bullwhipped mercilessly with immediate effect.#LOLDUALITYNSNO

would you wanna work for a club like that? i hope no one takes that job.
I would want to work for a club like that, as it's a club with rich history and firm beliefs. It's much more than just the football back home, and it's always been.

Still not as bad as the religious wars here though.

CSKA were the team of the Army and the State back in the days of Communism weren't they ? Thus the team of the Secret Police etc that were despised by everyone else
Correct, hence he got abused a lot.

It's only a game.

I wouldn't have the willpower to hold myself back from smacking the pair of them.
You know the bullets in the post thing you have here? We don't do that, we're quite direct with threats and he probably won't be able to walk out of the stadium without the ultras doing proper damage to him.

I think he knew that it was coming his way anyway.

If I was him i'd be quitting straight away, fook that.
He did.
