Lets have a frank discussion about the N word

I notice that more and more people are getting infractions for the N word.

Its a word that hasnt been added to the swear filter, so I dont understand why such a word is creating so many infractions.

I get that its abusive to call somebody it personally, but in its general sense, why is it considered offensive?

I realise I will probably be told to mind my own business, but here we are.

I get why we shouldnt say the M word.

Its offensive in any context, but the N word is different, for me anyway.

I got that one, the other one I hadn't a clue. Presumably the R word is also out of bounds or should be.
