Oh yeah for sure, I just meant that a nation should never have to play players out of position unless they are really really desperate. But yeah, great for us to get Lescott used to the big games. It can only improve him for our upcoming group stage in europe.

Actually Bruce the reverse could be true, if he has read some of the pre-match crap it just could knock his confidence and his display wasn't so good.....................I hope not

lescott has proven himself worthy at LB and CB, so i have no probs with him in at the expense of others. good for him to get the confidence of the manager no matter how small his (the managers) future looks destined to be.
