Everton star Leon Osman will continue his testimonial celebrations with ‘A True Blue Comedy Night’ in association with Liverpool Comedy Central and Chang Beer.
The midfielder will be hosting a night of comedy on Sunday 22 March, with all ticket proceeds going to his two nominated charities, Claire House Children’s Hospice and Make A Wish Foundation.
Taking place at Blue Bar & Grill’s basement venue, the evening will see four local and international comedians take to the stage, with fun and laughter guaranteed.
Speaking ahead of the event, Osman said: “The event idea was kindly offered by Chang and Liverpool Comedy Central and I jumped at it.
"It is quite a different event and I don’t think I’ve heard of any other footballers doing this type of event before in their testimonial years. But it should be a really good night and I'm looking forward to it.
“We’ve got a fantastic history of producing comedians in Liverpool and it all starts at places like this, so to be able to promote that and to support these local charities as well is great.”
The doors will open from 7pm and the night will start with a platter dinner, followed by an ‘Everton mint’ sundae dessert with a complimentary bottle of Chang on arrival.
Tickets are on sale for £25 and are available here or by calling 0151 702 5834.
