Hi Bluefox, I went to Filbert St once. Leicester 1 Liverpool 0, Charity Shield 1971. Just happened to be in the area and thought I'd go.

Er, you do know that David Nugent is a serious Evertonian, don't you? He won't score against us.
Seem to remember Leicester being a bit of a bogie team for the r/s, hope that will still apply now they have been promoted.

I remember when I was a kid being in the queue for the Saturday afternoon matinee at The Tunnel picture house in Edge Hill and changing my mind.
There was a match on at Anfield and I decided to go there, instead. I got on the bus, which came down Tunnel Rd. It was when they were in the old second division. I didn't know who they were playing and when they ran out the visitors were in Everton's colours.
They didn't have advertising on their shirts then, as you know, obm, and I thought it was Everton. I was a little kid, remember.
It was actually Leicester City but they weren't a bogey that day - Liverpool won 2-0.
It's funny how things like that stick in your memory. I can't remember what I had for tea last night!

Hi all very much looking forward to playing you first game of the season, its been a long time believe me.

The last time we played you lost a very loyal supporter in Bernard Murphy who was hit by some flying debris,i don't know if you have been to King Power before but if you get the chance there is a memorial garden behind the East Stand with a plaque and bench in his honour...also i still think to this day Leicester City still send flowers to his family.

It just shows in football two sides can get together and give respect, good luck for next season.

Welcome mate.
Lovely touch from your club that.
