Smoking rates are decreasing and that's not illegal. Education is the key, not prohibition. And I think the majority of people who start drugs do so because they feel rebellious doing something illegal. Take away the rebel factor and you remove the desire for a lot of people. Same as smoking - it used to be thought of as cool and tough - that isn't the case any more, which is probably why the number of people of young people smoking has decreased so much.

Not a criminal act on behalf of the person forced hopefully. And drugs and abuse ought to be factors when clearing through the haze of those working in the sex industry.

One consequence of prostitution being legal, incidently, is that women who don't apply for a job as a prostitute could lose their job seekers allowance.

Happened in germany, it was a job she was deemed qualified for and as it was the third that month that she didn't apply for her she was deemed uneligable for job seekers.
