Leaving the game early

I think it depends on the industry. The City doesn't stand for that sort of attitude. 'Face Time' and all that silliness. Never get out any earlier on a Friday.

Oh yes, well the money mavens never sleep...:)

As the Nikkei closes the FTSE opens and as it closes the DOW comes alive.

Ive done it a couple of times when weve been hammered and couldnt
take standing there but always to regret, goodison is most evertonians second
home and to me now id rather spend aslong as i could in there regardless of my mood

some lad today near us left with 5 minutes to go before end of first half, then when Alcaraz was brought on as the game was getting stretched he and his mates left saying 'koff bringing Alcaraz on, this has been sh!te, I'm off.' Bearing in mind this was just before the Coleman chance, could not believe it.

The amount of people leaving before the final whistle in the 90th minute shocked me today, Imagine if we scored a winner. How people can reason with themselves that avoiding 10 minutes in traffic is worth potentially missing a derby winner I will never know.

Only done it once.
FA cup v Bradford in 97. Waddle lobbed Southall from 45 yards out, we were 3-1 down and truly awful with 5 mins to play when I walked out fuming.
Missed Speeds goal in injury time but wasn't arsed, out of the cup to a league 2 side. Was humiliating. Still hurts to think about my 2 hour drive home.

Tranmere for me,was taking a foxy chicklol to the Empire to watch blood brothers and had to get up to Southport to pick her up,when they got their third it was a case of "right I'm off"still felt well weird leaving early thoughlol

Done it 3 times out of choice, all in the last year! Anfield last season with about 15 minutes to go (at 4-0 down, did I really want to hang around watching them bellends rub it in when there wasnt a chance in hell of us coming back?) and likewise at 3-0 down at Swansea and Southampton this season, mainly because they were ridiculous trips, and while I really fancied staying to throw rotten fruit at them after those two performances...actually getting home within a reasonable hour got the best of me.

Swansea wasnt even worth it, with both the M5 and M6 having closures and diversions that night, the 15 minutes I saved getting out of Swansea with no traffic was irrelevant compared to the extra hour and a half I spent in queues in the bloody Midlands!

I have left at half time a few times, many years ago. Never even made one match, last game of the season, red hot day and a certain bar in town had a bar upstairs near the toilets with no one there. Pissed on free ale all day.
