He's physically closer to Onana than Gana so if this allows us to phase Gana out, feels like a sensible move to me. Assuming the financials are reasonable of course.

And if you keep signing them players, nothing changes. Sell Godfrey in jan for 10mil maybe 15 if we find a mug with plenty of cash. And then get him on loan to cover CB and CMid. And use the Godfrey money as down payment on an exciting winger. Then fair enough, but I’d hate to see us waste a transfer fee on him

But surely if we’re only 19mil over and you’d guess the first of them 3 yrs is worse, we’d be ok?
What we sell now isn’t going to effect that though
