I can't get my head around looking out for another team.

I've not really been someone who has had a dedication to any particular team...

Until 4 months back when I took the plunge with you lot!

Now, I've got three Everton shirts and over 600 posts on this forum.

To me, other teams don't even exist now.

Move with me to Bristol when you were 7, in the mid 70s, and the only half decent football is 10 minutes away. Pretty easy to develop an interest & affection for a second team mate.

With wall to wall coverage these days, plus the web, its a bit easier to keep tabs on your home team from anywhere in the world. But back then?

I can vouch for that. Even up here in the frozen wastelands of the grim north east...we have electricity and everything. Some of our toilets are even inside.

Haha! I probably hold the world record for seeing Everton at Ashton Gate more times than any other Blue!

But people dont realise how rubbish football coverage was in the 70s & 80s.

I get your point, I've nothing against those that do have a second team.

It's just incomprehensible for my little bonce.

Tony Mowbray hired by Coventry. Great move for them, hope they won't get relegated after their fight for Ricoh.

I go the odd Bradford game (the FA cup 0-0 being the most recent), good fans, good atmosphere. Parkinson is a great manager IMO too, he certainly has the backing of the fans. No connection to Everton, just nearest team and my mates drag me along.

I look at the results and tables for every league in England. Right down to the North west counties league. But my heart is only into Everton and Bolton.
