Professor Toffee

On and on, over the hill and the craic is good
new league season kicks off tomorrow night
Dundalk going for 4 in a row but have lost 3 of their most influential players , 2 Horgan and Boyle to Preston and Finn to Shamrock Rovers
They've brought in a few players including a loan for Everton's own Steve Kinsella
A year later of transition with Duffy, McGrath, Hoare, Vemmelund, Clifford, Stewart to acclimatise.
Shamrock Rovers have been busy and will fancy their chances with Bradley managing a significantly changed team
Cork have added to strength and look good to claim their first title for over 10 years
Dundalk v Shamrock Rovers
Bohs v Derry
Galway v Drogheda
St Pats v Bray
Limerick v Sligo
Finn Harps v Cork

Cmon the town!
Good to have Limerick back , proper football team!

Looking forward to the new season - shame about the new structure of the premier league as I think it will be detrimental in the long term. Big season for a lot of teams.

Can see a few teams blowing budgets mid season if down near the bottom. Clubs will be desperate to stay in the division. Fancy Derry City to be a big player this season.

Be interesting to see how Limerick react to not winning every week.

City aren't stronger in my opinion, the failure to replace Kenny Browne makes us weaker. Bennett is injured so neither of last year's CB will start tomorrow night. I've seen Delaney twice now and he is rubbish and if the long term plan is start himself and Bennett then we are in big trouble. Last Friday night McCormack covered every single Delaney error but Bennett won't have the pace to do that. We have the same problem we had last year, 3 non goalscoring central midfielders and an over reliance on Maguire for goals. We can win it but we need others to falter, Dundalk were a disgrace last Friday night but I fear the massive problem we have at CB is going to end up costing us more then anyone believes at the moment.

Great start for Bray last night, was worried we would take 6 or 7 matches to get going. Bring on Harps next Friday. Didn't see much of the live game, Sligo a bit of a shambles from what I hear but great start for Limerick all the same. Bohs in all sorts of bother as well.

Be amazed if Athlone make it through the season.

Dublin derby tomorrow. Can't wait I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve. Come on the Hoops!!!

Come on the Hoops !!

Pitch will be very heavy after all the rain so likely to see even more heavy slide tackles and therefore cards are probably going to be numerous.

Live on RTE 2 and just kicked off.

2-0 then ref gave ridiculous pen to Bozos to try and get them back.

2-1 in the end so always happy to beat that shower!!
