I think its because they wanted a north and a south one, I thought Brighton v Southampton would of been the obvious one, can understand ours not being on, there where some decent games drawn out there

Here's a strange and probably unpopular view on this game, but one that always riles me.
We haven't won a trophy since 1995. Ove the years we have messed around in this Comp and gone out - remember Leeds Away!!
How about we actually go all out for this trophy. Play your best team!!
So, we aren't going to win the league - rather than making 11 changes next Tuesday - Make 11 changes against Bournemouth. Laugh you might and of course its a ridiculous suggestion and never ever going to happen, but players in week 3 of the season do not need a rest.
Silva will be a hero if he wins a trophy, he needs to think carefully about selection.

Everton shouldn't needs their strongest team to win at home to a team like Rotherham but we should definitely put a team out that's strong enough to win with some comfort.
If any of the deadline day signings are fit enough to start then it would be a good chance to give them a first game.Our bench on Saturday was Stek, Kenny, Zouma, Davies, Naisse, Lookman & DCL. I'd happily have all 7 of them start in the LC.
