What chance does the Yak have of being the leading scorer at seasons end? It is many years since we as blues looked for one of our own on that list. Drogba is injured: if Yak didn't go to the ANC then he must be in with a huge chance of topping the list, what do you think?

I think he will be up there with the likes of ronaldo, torres, keane, adebeyer and tevez.
Going to the african nations will hamper him but i expect 20 goals from him if he stays injury free.

Yeah I think he'll make the list for sure, but probably not top of the list.

It has been too long since a blue has been a regular on there. How far back are we talking about that we've been up there? Cottee maybe?

He stands a chance, although it probably doesn't help that we have so many good strikers. He seldom plays in 'lesser' games and I'm not sure I've seen him complete a full 90 minutes yet. The team is scoring a truck load so the tactics are obviously working, but it might hinder the Yak in his personal pursuit of the golden boot.

Cottee it would be but he was never as prolific as his publicity makes out. I would think Lineker with his one season but for consistency and as a pure bred centre forward it has to Latchford, Sharpy was never a hitman, he provided far more than he scored where as Latch was a sheer joy to watch, scared the crap out of any defence and he would do it today(y) (y) (Cue, enter a certain Welsh geezer confirming this:lol:  )

Kanchelskis bagged a few but youre going back to Sharp since we've had someone capable of banging 20+.

I don't think he ever scored much more than 15 chico, I will get the record book out(y)

I have been called to super by the superior one, quickly Sharp scored 150 in 412 games over 11 seasons. He will have never gone near to the leading scorers list based on those averages

Our most prolific forward since Dixie, 'Big Bad Bob' is a Legend, if the Yak comes anywhere close then we are on to a good thing.

This photo here is of Bob scoring his 29th goal of his legendary 30 goal season in 1978, a sweet header pass the great Chelsea 'keeper Peter Bonneti, he went on to score his 30th with a late pen in the same game.
