What is lacking is LEADERSHIP
Leadership from the top initially ....
Moshiri isn’t being strong enough with the board
The board are and always have been led by a well intentioned starry eyed luvvie who has no experience if leading in a crisis
The interim manager hasn’t been told what is going on so he is managing in limbic (emotionally rather than logic driven ) mode and us this not making reasonable sensible decisions .... tell him clearly the plan please let the guy out of his tortured delusion
The captain us not leading on the field he can’t keep his place for much longer .. a spent force ... the team do not look to him for leadership ... they look at him hoping he can last 90 without too many FCK ups
The one player with the knowledge and experience who could have showed the required leadership to at least hold us together on the field against Southampton was on the bench (Rooney)
without leadership at any level any team will eventually flounder and lose confidence
Everton currently lack leadership AT EVERY LEVEL AND iT NEEDS TO START AT THE TOP
Flip it Me Moshiri it is actually in your hands
Sack the board
Appoint a strong leader for manager
This will change for the better as rapidly as it fell apart after Koeman lost interest .
This squad is good and deep enough to easily rise up the table given leadership and organisation ....
Good players don’t go bad overnight they lose confidence through being poorly led poorly deployed and poorly motivated
