Oviedo for me won't come back the same player from his injury, looks like he's lost a yard off his pace, might get it back but it's gonna take him weeks worth of minutes under his belt which we may not be able to afford considering the opposition.

Galloway looks decent defending but won't offer us enough going forward in terms of link up play on the left which we saw today was lacking. I don't like the idea of having too many inexperienced lads at the back either, both him and Stones need to develop and we could do with some maturity in that defence atm shame Baines is out for so long.

Only everton could you go from 3 top LB's to 3 crippled ones in the space of a few weeks.

.based on?

He looks just as fast as before and after coming back from the leg break after 1 or 2 games getting back to sharpness he was back to being a very impressive performer, was our best player against Chelsea before he took his second knock.

Why is it whenever one of our players spends a bit of time out injured their entire career is write off

He's out for 6 weeks.

Let's be honest, Oviedo and Galloway are both good cover for LB, and Galloway will get the experience he needs this way, still with Oviedo to come on for him or even play left mid in front of him.
i agree and think Oviedo is definitely good enough to be playing there regularly in the prem if back to full fitness. i just thought Garbutt may have had something special about him but hopefully all works out in long term.

We're gonna lose all our next eight games anyway so might as well give oviedo the game time.
