Lawrenson again.

Do people moan like this everytime someone predicts we will lose a game?

Yes we should win the league every season. Played 38 won 38 drew 0 lost 0 goals for 275 goals against 0. Roy of the Rovers us and when we don't win the league the 6th. placed trophy is what we were really after.

Dont mind people predicting us to lose games, but when Lawrenson does it, his reasoning behind why he thinks we will its absolutely embarassing. Probably hates it because we're much much better under Roberto than we were under his buddy, Moyes.

...female City fan took off on him on the radio after City's mid-week win, said his reds bias has been unbelievable in recent weeks. He countered by saying he'd actually backed City to win the league at the start of the season, but she certainly made her point.

That's not really a counter, that's a null statement.

At the start of the season everyone has speculations and believes team X will win the league/get relegated. It's through the course of the season that Lawrenson's been a biased RS pundit, and doing it quite obviously.

I think the game on Sunday is impossible to predict.
Hull will have their mind on the cup final a week later and the manager may decide to play a weakened team...or may decide to play a full strength side and let players play for their cup final place.

Everton can't move up and almost certainly can't move down in the table , so will RM pick a full strength team or use this as an opportunity to let Garbutt and Browning get experience. Will Gibson get a run out which would be a big boost for everybody as it would mean that he is fully ready for next season.

Of all the ex-Liverpool players in the media I think Lawrenson is one of the best.I think he generally tries to be fair and generally speaks well of Everton. He does point out some of our failings and it is more difficult to accept because of his history.
I cannot stand Aldridge

The mighty Oracle has spoken. Future set in stone, all will be as foretold.
Praise be to the ex-moustachioed, effeminate, redshite melt. Amen.

So do I. At least, I do when I hear his opinions, which hasn't been all that often because I live in Melbourne.

...she was also suggesting he's anti-City, never says a good word about them. Another City fan came on and said the red fans were actually celebrating winning the league after their league match, reckons they were doing laps of honour around the ground chanting 'champions'. Would dearly love City to be confirmed on Sunday but I reckon it will be a nervous couple of hours.

He is one of the least worst, although Hansen also tries to be even-handed at times. Even Souness can be acceptable at times.

Pinocchio, Aldridge, Fowler are very biased - I no longer have Sky so I can't comment on Carragher but I will never forget his " It's a man's game" excuse after the Clattenberg derby.

Redknapp and Owen are just lightweight nonentities.

Yes,I should have given Souness an honourable mention.
Heis by a long way the best ex Liverpool commentator. In fact, imo one of the best around.
He really doesn't seem to have a Liverpool bias.

Agree about Souness.

Always hated him as a player but as a pundit I think he is by far the best and he does seem to be unbiased.
