Player Valuation: £60m
On the radio again last Saturday talking about Everton and David Moyes.
He said that David Moyes didn't expect to do any business in the January transfer window. However,in the third week of the month there was a change of mind and this led to the nearly deal with Leroy Fer.
I don't know if this has any significance regarding the managers contract.

If the board is pissing Moyes off over Transfers then he should come out and tell so we can back him and get rid of the board instead of losing Moyes.

Another ridiculous scenario that appears to stem from our inept board. This squad could badly use a new face or two with a bit of energy. Look at what Sissoko and the other players have done for them toss bags up north.

It reinforces the belief that the failure had far more to do with the board than Moyes, as they didn't give him the cash until more than half way through the window.

I've posted before (I could be completely wrong obviously ) that somebody else stumped up the money via a guarantee , loan or whatever & that prior to that there was just very little there . When the fer money turned up a lot of people were very surprised .

I've heard that something very specific happened the week before the transfer window closed, but if Mark Lawrenson is saying the same thing then I'm forced to acknowledged that what I heard is nonsense, because Lawrenson knows nothing.

Which is unfortunate.

Could the cash have come from a guarenteed Sale in the summer ?? Maybe an advance on the Curly haired on leaving ?

Nothing worth writing home about mate, I'm not in the know and wouldn't claim to be.

Similar thing to what sheeds and Lawrenson are saying.

Fair enough. Not a big suprise really when you consider Suntan was saying we had no money then 8m turns up 3 weeks in. Just a shame we're at the mercy of Billionaires with no interest in football whatsoever.

Moyes and Lawrenson are good friends.I think his informationn is reliable.
It would dovetail with what SHEEDS has said that the money was guaranteed now, probably against future player sales or tv money.

I can't believe people still read what that fookin nonce has to say. Cnut. Always has been, always will be.
