Alright lads, thinking about studying law at Uni next year, does anyone do it or know anyone who does it, and what do they think about it? Thanks in advance.

Don't you have to fork out a fortune on something called a LPC before you become a proper solicitor?

Sounds really competitive and rather boring IMO. Not for me.

According to my sister's bf who studied it at Liverpool uni, there's loads of studying (obviously) and a long time before you can officially be able to practice law, but after all that it'll be so worth it. If you can get into a good uni with a strong Law School that'll help you big time, like.

Nice one for the replies so far, not even sure what I want to do tbh, looking at History too but haven't got a clue for any jobs after getting a degree in that

Liverpool Uni's law programme is recognized as one ofg the best in the country, difficult to get into apparently.

Swerve the degree, mate. It's all but useless and will leave you crippled in debt for the rest of your life.

Your careers thingymabob person in school can help you with this. Or your head of 6th form.

Personally, I'd choose a degree based on level of interest rather than career prospects though mate. Best of luck with it anyway.

Thats a good point, thanks mate. I'm interested with history so I might just go with that and see where it takes me. Really appreciate the rest of the comments like too

Have you thought about languages mate , Chinese,Spanish and Portuguese are the way to go like .
