I'd sort of forgotten Kendall was dead. Having become a blue as a kid during the golden days you think of him just always being there.
Bye bye Friday feeling. And name the park end after him, or are we beholden to that RS bell Johnson still?

Let's hope the statue more closely resembles the faces of the players than Dixie's one does. That could be anyone.

Sounds promising.

I wonder if fans will have a choice/be involved in the designs/

I'd assume it'll be this;

we have a winner + Harvey to unveil = double winner

make it so.

Agree totally with a statue for the holy trinity,I was only a kid watching them but remember the excitement that they generated .We seem to be lacking as a club in officially recognising our greats in the form of statues/naming of stands though already in this thread there have been names from our past suggested as likely candidates for future recognition.
As suggested there would be no problem in moving a statue if Goodison were to be developed,or if we moved to a new stadium.Perhaps then we as the fans could have some sort of say with future ideas in paying permanent respect to those who have served us with distinction
