Don't let that put you off citizen, 'serious' music is there for everyone.

The RLPO have a worldwide reputation, and the Philharmonic Hall is always worth a visit.

Mate, classical music is for everyone and you'll be surprised with the eclectic mix of people who often turn up. As @LEONARD rightly says, the RLPO is great!

The Last Night of the Proms is another kettle of fish and while I don't mind a bit of pomp etc., some of the people there are just on a different level of buffoonery.
