Looking at Spurs last game at WHL against utd (was wondering if it was arranged somehow) who would people pick as our opponents, did think the RS at first but quickly kicked that into touch can't win an argument with them. So who would people pick for me probably someone we usually beat so I'm hoping Fulham are in the PL by then.
I,m hoping we are in the PL by then

On a slightly different note I can't get over how the media have been falling over themselves all week about the Spuds last game at the Lane.
WTF ?
It's not like they are moving to a different part of London, they are not even moving to a different road! No they are just knocking the old ground down and building on a slightly bigger footprint.
Now fast forward a few years when our beloved blues say goodbye to the grand ol ' lady Goodison Park to move to their state of the art first class world beating purpose built all singing all dancing waterside stadium.( one can only dream! )
I just hope that the goodbye is not as cringe inducing as what I have witnessed this week, but a little bit more dignified
As to who we would play last....I don't care so long as we are presented the league trophy as a result of our unbeaten season long run with space for it to sit along side the league cup knowing that we only have a cup final to come the following week to finish what would be a truly memorable season..... (wakes from dream !!)

I think a RS guard of honour as we collect the premiership trophy would be amusing.

But a thrilling European semi would be better.

The only teams in the premiership who were in the original league are Stoke and West Brom, hardly inspiring is it. Personally, I'd like to play Aston Villa as it's the oldest fixture in the game, old fashioned me.

I thought the West Ham one last year was better, more poignant. Leaving Upton Park and that tight knit east end community with all the cafes, pubs, corner shops etc. close by to a soulless bowl with a running track in the middle of nowhere. Theres no community feel anymore. West Ham have lost their identity and it's sad to see.

White Hart Lane didn't have much character anyway (four mundane two tiered stands), plus it looked nothing like it used to. So they were saying goodbye to a pretty modern stadium. As you say they are barely moving, so the change isn't that drastic. They are also moving into their own purpose built stadium unlike West Ham.

Overall I think it's sad the way the game is going. Big corporate bowls and ditching the areas that made the team part of the community.

I should say that maybe I should have more of a soft spot for the Lane than I do as it was there as an 9 year old my father who remains a Spuds fan to this day took me to watch the mighty Blues for the first time.
It wasn't until May 1987 that I made my first pilgrimage to Goodison via a last minute coach ticket purchased from the Luton Town supporters club who in those days where my nearest top flight club, but that's a story for another time !!
