Everton set to sign Landon Donovan?

Several reports suggest that USA international Landon Donovan is on the cusp of a return to the Premier League, rejoining Everton on a permanent deal.

Donovan has previously enjoyed a very successful spell at Everton before, and was disappointed that no permanent deal was agreed.

However, Everton had remained in close contact with the American since he returned to his homeland, and David Moyes is now expected to rubber stamp a move for Donovan later this week.

Angel went to Chivas USA.

There are a few reputable US writers I follow on twitter, and there has been absolutely no mention of Donovan leaving LA. If he does leave, it won't be until after the Galaxy season is completed.

I doubt it would be that high actually. IF we sell Yak and Yobo this may be a possibility, but I'm not holding my breath. With Coleman out, this would be a much needed signing though.
