Lager, Ale and where to score it cheap.

How come the local asian shop can do me 5 cans of German Becks for a fiver (it was six for a fiver when I lived
down in London) and completely undercut websites and supermarkets?

Is there nowhere I can bulk-buy crates of beer (decent imported stuff not UK brewed swill*) to make it
reasonable. Or am I consigned to regular trips to the shop.

Please help my lazy arse.

Anyone got any beer buying tips?

*I'm aware that real beer is nice in the UK but brewed under license lager is pish.

I had some Becks Next on hols and the smell alone has made me say I can no longer be arsed with beer, if you lay off completely then when you try some its vile.

was for me anyway and as now back on call 24/7 i shant be touching any just like I didnt for the rest of the hols, if you can abstain when Peroni is €1.10 a pint bottle then i think you can manage it all the time.
You do start to get irritated by folks insistence on supping though at every opportunity.

Didn't there used to be people doing ale runs to France and then flogging it on the cheap. What happened to that? Is there no
money in it anymore?

I suppose I should just keep buying it from the corner shop. It's a bit unhealthy how well they know me in there now.
