ive been coming here for a while and I'd like to think I've always been respectful. So please don't take this the wrong way, but......

Great result for your lot mate and, barring a 15 minute period in the first half when we were playing keep ball, your fans never shut up. You thoroughly deserved the win, and congratulations on staying up.

Allardyce has done a great job in getting you organised but there's a hell of a lot of work to do if you're not going to be in a similar situation next season.

I always like coming up to your place, unless we get spanked of course :(

I'm not convinced he actually said it, tbh - but at the very least, the Geordie WUM who made this to goad Mackems has been served a ruthless pipe-down.

It's totally fake. I was up here when he moved, he said a few snidy things about moving to a club with ambition, and not just trying not to lose anymore.

But the over the top stuff in that picture is just made up.

I try not to take issue with any other team - least of all their fans (since there's always something they can throw at you to inflict pain). So, the message is that hatred in football isn't a good thing to have. I used to hate the White Shight almost as much as the Red. (That's the team from a large Yorkshire city for those who don't know), and Chelsea (dirty bastads - used to kick everyone almost as much as the WS). I didn't care too much for quite a few teams but now, it's mostly just the Red Shight.. and then some. But I suppose I can make an exception for teams owned by the likes of Mike Ashley - he is Britain's Donald Trump after all.

Glad to see Sunderland survive your victory was never in question, happy to see them stay up for 3 reasons, firstly I have a couple of good mates who are maccams and I had a great visit to the Stadium of light a couple of years ago with them, secondly I absolutely detest Mike Ashley and everything he stands for and thirdly I actually don't mind Sam Allardyce, what you see is what you get with him and Newcasle wouldn't be in the mess they are today if they'd have stuck by him.

buzzin because newcastle fans really
are the kopites of the east
