Therein lies the problem. Microsoft recommend that the first thing you do after applying an update is to look at porn.

I once did some automatic updates and windows wouldn't load in. Had to restore the laptop to factory settings.

undo windows update

you should get instructions on how to use add.remove programs in control panel
