Well lads.... Got a little road trip lined up for the weekend...... myself and 19 others have booked a hostel in a place called Dolgellau in the mountains.... 2 mins away from a pub I might add...... the weekend is gonna be tough... 2 ex paras and an ex infantry seargent are amongst the rest of us pot bellied beer monsters going hiking into the mountains . If you don't hear off me by Monday call the police ...or something. The weekend starts at 4pm tomorrow...bring it on !!

It's out of my hands i'm afraid. One of the party involved is a trainer and asessor for the coastguard/mountain rescue covering Anglesey and the LLYN Peninsula.... he has access to some disused mines apparently which depending on the weather he may be taking us down..... either that or Cadair Idris I believe... some of the group have not walked further than the length of their garden paths for years ha ha.


Also I will take pics....will post them next week.

mr the esk used to be part of Ogwen Valley Mountain Resuce, Cym Bychan is highly recommended. Have a great time!
