The Moyes is Back in Town
Wow, that's all I can say. I remember the news breaking on MTV when I was 11, even though I wasn't a fan then I still recall it happening. As I grew up I became a 'grunger' as they say and fell in love with the whole scene, pearl jam are my favourite band but kurt just led that whole period. We never would have know what nirvana would have turned into but I feel if he didn't die that 'In Utero' would have been the last album anyway.

Well, 20 years have gone by and the man still inspires.

Thanks Kurt.

Loved to have known what nirvana would have done next, more acoustic maybe? That MTV unplugged is by far the best unplugged

his last interview he revealed they've been experimenting with effect boxes and cosmic jams as he recently discovered the German Kosmische Musik era (known in Britland as krautrock).

Alice in chains unplugged is right up alongside it mate, especially as it was one if not the last performance by the band before stayley went of into his world of drug abuse again, tremendous waste of both bands talent those two's deaths though, stayleys death was even more tragic than kurts in many ways

Hey guys I am just SO worn down at this time of year just sitting and thinking in a dark room about Kurt and his personal influence on my life. I mean he only really played a couple of good songs and was one pure smelly [Poor language removed] but the media understand just how special he is. That's right I used present tense because I believe a talent such as Kurt can never die.

Sometimes I just sit and play the opening bit to the best song the world has ever known and the only song the world knows Nirvana made - Smells Like Teen Spirit - over and over again on my guitar which I hand painted with black nail varnish.

Life is pain man.

Kurt sometimes visits me in my sleep. Straight up. He tells me to realise my inner strength and to never ever wash my hair if I want to honour him. He also asked me to wear black eyeliner but were in negotiations about that.

Anyway life man. So deep. I cut myself as its the only way I can express myself.

Love you Kurt. Keep on being beautiful. I hate myself so much to make you proud.

I cannot describe my disappointment with this comment...

I don't rate Alice in Chains particularly but that's not a bad shout. Layne Staley is incredible on it.
